Christmas tree chipping or collection in Port Hawkesbury

If you still have your Christmas tree and are looking to get rid of it, the Town of Port Hawkesbury has a couple of options.

There will be a tree collection Thursday, January 9.

The Town says to remove all objects from your tree and have it curbside by no later than 7 a.m.

If you would like your Christmas tree chipped, you can bring it to the chipping site at Oaklee Bagley Field #5 in Grants Pond at 10:30 a.m., January 13.

Once, chipped the Town says you can bring the wood chips home, if you choose.
