Due to personal issues, Islanders Head Coach Willie MacDonald has resigned his position with the team. The Islanders support Willie’s decision and thank him for his time with the team. The Islanders also wish Willie and his family all the best in the future.
Moving forward, Assistant Coach Michael MacDonald has accepted the Head Coaching position, and will be supported by current Assistant Coaches Keenan Gillis and Nick Muise.
