Inverness lowers water conservation order to voluntary

Water conservation is now voluntary in Inverness.

It was downgraded from mandatory today for users of the municipal water system.

The municipality says it’s because of continued efforts of residents to save water.

They’re still encouraging you to curb usage as much as possible.

That includes avoiding watering lawns and gardens, taking shorter showers and fixing leaks.
