Multiple grass fires in Cumberland County were intentionally set.
RCMP and DNR say the suspicious fires happened late Wednesday afternoon near Oxford.
Firefighters and DNR crews had to work to contain the blazes.
Police say evidence points to them being deliberate.
Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the following areas is asked to contact their local Cumberland Country District RCMP office:
- Hwy. 321 around Oxford Junction between 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on August 13
- Hwy. 204 around Birchwood between 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on August 13
- Jungle Rd. from Hwy. 321 to Thomson Rd. between 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on August 13
