‘Pink Shirt Day’ is Thursday in N.S.

Don’t forget to wear pink.

Thousands of school-aged kids will take part in the province’s ‘Pink Shirt Day’ on Thursday.

It began in 2007 when a boy was bullied for wearing pink to school in the Annapolis Valley.

The following day, other students wore pink to show solidarity and stand-up to bullying.

Held each September, the day promotes kindness and inclusion in schools.
