If you have an above ground pool, take note of this recent recall.
Select Bestway, Intex and Polygroup Above-Ground Pools (48-Inches and Taller) are being recalled due to a drowning hazard.
The compression strap that surrounds the outside of the pool legs may create a foothold, allowing a child access to the pool, posing a drowning risk.

Immediately contact Bestway and Coleman, Intex or Polygroup to request a repair kit. Consumers should ensure that children cannot access the pool unattended or drain the pool until the repair can be installed.
So far there have been no reported incidents in Canada, but there have been 9 drownings reported in the USA.
