Dartmouth dog groomer charged for animal distress

A Dartmouth dog groomer is facing charges of causing an animal distress.

The SPCA says it comes after several complaints of animal abuse during appointments with the woman at a Dartmouth facility.

The 39-year-old is scheduled to appear in court in March.

She will face four counts under the Animal Protection Act.
