Public hearing on possible 55-unit building in Port Hawkesbury

A chance to have your say on a proposed 55-unit housing development in Port Hawkesbury.

It would on the property that was the former Port Hawkesbury Arena and Kinsmen Club.

In a release, CAO Terry Doyle says the town is considering selling the land to New Dawn Enterprises.

The organization is in partnership with At Home Housing Association, a newly formed not for profit to serve housing needs between Port Hawkesbury and the Municipality of the County of Richmond.

There will be a public consultation session on Tuesday, February 17, at 6 p.m. in the Shannon Studio at the Civic Centre.

You are also encouraged to provide a written presentation in favor against the development by Monday, February 16 to mwarner@townofph.ca
