Today, the RCMP marks it’s 150th Anniversary.
In a statement, Commissioner Mike Duheme says it’s a moment that calls the force to reflect on where they’ve come from and where they are going; a job that allows them to help others and change lives.
To celebrate there were free BBQ’s today at select detachments around the province.
There are over 30 thousand RCMP members across Canada and abroad.
