33-year-old Manitoba man assaulted in Wagmatcook

A 33-year-old man from Manitoba was assaulted in Wagmatcook.

The RCMP says they got a call around 5:30 Monday morning.

Officers say the man was assaulted earlier in the morning by a man and a woman.

A 22-year-old man was arrested, and faces several charges, including aggravated assault.

The woman was also arrested and released pending a court appearance.
