RCMP investigating possible shooting threat for Acadia University in fall 2023

RCMP are investigating a shooting threat to Acadia University for this fall.

Police say the University Safety and Security received the threat through email.

They say, through initial investigation it seems the information concerning the threat, for a shooting, was being circulated on social media.

They have not been able to verify the threat but are working with the University on safety planning for the fall of 2023.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
