A woman is dead after head-on collision on Highway 2 near Truro, in Hilden N.S.
Police say it was Tuesday morning around 8 o’clock when a Toyota Yaris and a Hummer H2 travelling in opposite directions collided and came to rest in the middle of the road.
The driver and sole occupant of the Yaris, a 63-year-old woman from Green Creek was announced dead at the scene.
The driver and sole occupant of the hummer, a 53-year-old Hilden man, had minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
The highway was closed for several hours and has since reopened.
Police continue to investigate.
