One person injured after car crash at Halifax Commons

The RCMP were at the Halifax Commons this morning after a driver crashed into one of the park’s trees.

It happened around 6 a.m. when the driver lost control of their vehicle near the Robie and Cunard corner of the Commons.

The driver, a 69-year-old man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.

The area was closed to traffic for awhile but has since reopened.
