Cabot Trail in Victoria Co. getting upgraded washrooms

Baddeck, Wreck Cove, Cape North, and Bay St. Lawrence are getting updated washroom facilities.

It is part of a project to improve the visitor experience along the Cabot Trail in Victoria County.

Victoria County Warden Bruce Morrison says accessible washrooms are important for residents and visitors.

Expanded washroom facilities are already under construction at the Visitor Information Centre in Baddeck.

Construction on the other three sites is planned to begin in 20-20.

Victoria County CAO Leanne MacEachen says portable toilets will be installed by the end of May.

The temporary toilets will act as a stop-gap until construction has been completed.
