RCMP looking for 78-year-old man missing since September

Inverness County District RCMP are asking for the public’s help finding 78-year-old Derek Kruger.

RCMP say Kruger was last seen at a gas station in Antigonish on September 29.

Since the investigation into his disappearance began on October 4, there has been an extensive search in the Greenfield, Colchester County area, where his red Mazda Miata was found on a logging road.

No new information has been received since.

He is described as 5’4 with brown hair wearing glasses and a hearing aid.

RCMP say there is no indication of criminality at this time.

RCMP officers are looking for any new details about Kruger’s movements in late September and early October, even if they seem insignificant. This information could help locate him.
