RCMP have charged a 28-year-old Chapel Island man with child pornography offences.
Investigators were directed to a residence after a social media application notified law enforcement that child pornography was transmitted on their service.
On February 8th, police executed a search warrant at a home in Potlotek First Nation and arrested a man.
He was charged with possession of child pornography and transmitting child pornography.
He was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court on April 11th.
