An evacuation of homes in Cape Breton due to a gas leak.
Some residents in the north end of Sydney have been forced out of the area due to the emergency.
Reports say the leak is located at the Imperial Esso Station tank farm.

The municipality is asking people to stay away from the area and to respect the safety perimeter set up by emergency crews.
Officials say 911 services is not impacted by the Rogers outage.
