Firefighter Art Andrews who was one of the founders of the Auld Cove Volunteer Fire Department will have his name etched on the Canadian Firefighters Memorial in Ottawa at a ceremony next month.
Kyle Andrews says his father accomplished a lot and he was always there whenever there was an emergency and he is very proud that his father is being honoured at the national level.
Art Andrews passed away two years ago from cancer he developed while working as a fire fighter and is being honoured for loss of life in the line of duty.
