Inverness Residents Invited to Complete A Seniors Safety Survey

The Municipality of the County of Inverness wants the publics feedback for the development of their senior’s safety program.

CAO Keith MacDonald says the municipality recognizes the importance of making the community socially and physically accessible and inclusive and the seniors safety program will work with local seniors and service providers to ensure the county is an age friendly community.

The municipality also hopes to determine the highest priorities when it comes to serving the elderly and creating more age friendly spaces.

Residents can submit their feedback on a survey which can be filled out online at: Seniors Safety Survey

Paper copies of the survey can be picked up at the Municipal Recreation and Community Wellness office at 86 High Road in Port Hood. If you have any questions you can contact Maggie MacDonald at 902-258-7960 or email maggie.macdonald@invernesscounty.ca

The deadline to submit the survey is October 28th
