New Development by the Antigonish Affordable Housing Society

The Antigonish Affordable Housing Society is proud to announce their latest development. The Appleseed Court Housing Unit will accommodate 12 low-income families.

The building is located near schools, shopping centres and other amenities and it also has a community room and an outdoor area for gardening. Some of the units are accessible for those with disabilities and the building is energy efficient.

The AAHS is a not for profit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty and providing homes for those in need. They would like to acknowledge the support of the three levels of government as well as contributions from community members, businesses, and organizations from inside and outside the Antigonish area for supporting the project.

An official opening ceremony for the housing unit is scheduled for September 13th at 4PM at 25 Appleseed Drive.
