The Municipality of the County of Inverness is conducing lead and copper sampling starting today.
They plan to conduct tests at homes and small businesses that use municipal water utilities. Priority will be given to residents.
Those that participate will be given a letter with the testing results, and you are asked to contact the municipal office if you are interested in taking part in this testing. The number to call is 902-258-7188
Water utilities in Nova Scotia are required by law to be tested for copper and lead.
