The Nova Scotia Liberals are aware of the affordability crisis, and they want the PC’s to take action,
They are calling on the Houston Government to cut the provincial gas tax to alleviate fuel costs.
The Alberta and Ontario Governments have already waived the tax, and the Federal Government has confirmed that the province of Nova Scotia may follow suit should they choose to do so.
Finance Critic Fred Tilley says cutting the gas tax is a simple way the Houston Government can help Nova Scotians.
