Marine Atlantic to Construct New Administration Building

Marine Atlantic is building their new administration building in Port Aux Basques Newfoundland.

This multiyear project will address space and infrastructure challenges and the building will play a role in the companies’ vision for a safe, healthy, and skilled workforce. Marine Atlantic’s President and CEO Murry Hupman says this is an exciting project for the company, one that will strengthen their services by offering a modern, accessible, and friendly facility.

Board of Directors Chair Gary O’Brien says Port Aux Basques has faced significant challenges recently and this project marks a significant milestone for the investment into their Port Aux Basques office infrastructure and further strengthens their presence in the community.

Olympic Construction was awarded the contract for this project. It is set to be finished in the summer of 2024.
