The Town of Port Hawkesbury is saying goodbye to a well-known community member Rilla McLean who passed away recently.
Mclean had a physical disability and, Deputy Mayor Hughie MacDougall said she cared very much about improving accessibility in the community, calling for improvements to be made to doors and sidewalks.
MacDougall added that she was a great community member and was instrumental in bringing the Terry Fox Run to Port Hawkesbury.
The Town of Port Hawkesbury would like to send their condolences to her friends and family.
