18th Annual Festival of the Greens Raises More Than $100.000

The Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation Celebrated the 18th Annual Festival of the Greens, presented by Cape Breton Beverages. The holiday Gala raised a total of $111.478 in support of healthcare on the Island.

The gala was held at the Membertou Trade and Convention Centre and featured Fiona MacGillivary as the emcee and entertainer, along with other musical guests like Kimberly Fraser and Aaron Lewis, Forrester Dancers, and Pretty Archie who closed out the evening.

Funds were raised through the foundations silent auction and the coveted live auction, and all funds will directly support the foundations priority health care needs of the more than 600.000 annual patient-visits made to the regional hospital.

The foundations CEO Paula MacNeil says events and fundraisers like this one are not possible without the support of our community partners and she expressed her gratitude to Cape Breton Beverages for working as the presenting partner for the gala for the past 14 years.
