How does Pat Stay Boulevard sound?
There is momentum to have a street in Dartmouth renamed after battle-rapper Pat Stay. A petition has garnered nearly 6,000 signatures in just a few days.
“Name an important road after this Great Man, Let his name forever live on in Dartmouth as a reminder of how Great of a ambassador he was for our community,” – Organizer Cody Good
Stay was murdered in downtown Halifax after he was stabbed at a bar in September. The 36-year-old was known as one of the best battle rappers in the world.
A Tantallon man was arrested a few days later and charged with first-degree murder.
The matter returns to court December 6.
