999 StFX Students Earn X-Rings

The annual St Francis Xavier University X-Ring Ceremony was held on Saturday during the Feast of St. Francis Xavier. The X Ring awards are a symbol of leadership, success, excellence, and community. This year the rings went to 999 students.

StFX president Andy Hakin said the winners all learned to be good citizens and encouraged them to never lose their Xavierian values.

An honorary ring was presented to Andrew Beckett former VP of Finance and Administration for making a difference in the lives of students, the campus, and the community.

The ceremony was held at the Charles V Keating Centre and it was watched online by over 2100 people from Canada and in different parts of the world.
