Antigonish RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit Charges Man with Drug Offences

The Antigonish Street Crime Enforcment Unit has charged a man with various drug offences.

As part of an ongoing investigation, Antigonish RCMP SCEU with the assistance from the Inverness/Richmond RCMP, Antigonish County District RCMP, and the Guysborough County District RCMP executed a search warrant at a property in Lindwood on December 5th.

The police found various narcotics during the search as well as cash and a trailer. The seizure is valued at approximately $500,000

35-year-old Shane Thomas Richard was arrested at the scene without incident, and he will make a court appearance in Antigonish Provincial Court on February 9th.

The charges range from possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession for the purpose of selling.
