UPDATE: Nova Scotia Power Restoration Efforts in Quad Counties

Several Nova Scotia Power customers lost power due the recent snowstorm in Eastern Nova Scotia.

This includes areas in the Quad Counties and much of Cape Breton Island.

In the Quad Counties, close to 5000 customers were affected and around 4000 customers now have their power back. Port Hawkesbury was hit the hardest with close to 900 people losing power.

Restoration efforts were delayed due to weather and road conditions, but Nova Scotia Power is working hard to restore power to the remaining customers, and it should be restored to most residents by 11PM. Some may have their power restored by 6PM.

Updates on power outages and restoration efforts are available on Nova Scotia Powers website: Nova Scotia Power Outage Map (nspower.ca)
