Robber holds up gas station with axe, wearing toque

This might sound a little bit like a Lumberjack robbed a gas station in Dartmouth.

Police say a man held up the Ultramar on Pleasant Street with an axe at about 3:00 a.m. on Saturday.

The man was wearing a brown jacket, dark scarf and toque. He is described as white, about 5’10” and 30-40 years-old.

He wanted cash and smokes but no one was hurt from the ordeal.

The man ran off before police got to the gas station.
