Customers of the Whycocomagh water system are still under a boil water advisory.
Municipal staff and contractors performed scheduled maintenance on the water system infrastructure which has caused ongoing discoloration.
It is recommended to bring tap water to a rolling boil for a minimum of 1 to 2 minutes and then cool the water before using it.
It’s not clear when the advisory will be lifted.
