N.S. Housing Market Seems to Shift With Sales Down

The housing market appears to be shifting, according to the Nova Scotia Association of Realtors.

They say the average price of a home sold in Nova Scotia in December of 2022 was just over $360,000.

That’s down 1.5 percent from December 2021.

There are not as many buying homes either, with sales down almost 30 percent.

New listings are even down, with only about 500 homes listed this past December, a difference of about 13 percent.
