Antigonish County District RCMP Investigating Fatal Collision

Antigonish County District RCMP is investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Highway 104 in East Havre Boucher on January 10 at approximately 9:05pm.

The collision involved a transport truck and a car. The 24-year-old driver and sole occupant of the car was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the car was from West Bay.

The 30-year-old truck driver from Ontario sustained serious but non-life threating injuries and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

The investigation is ongoing and Highway 104 was closed for several hours after the incident but has since reopened.
