The Cape Breton Regional Police have charged a Glace Bay man with second degree murder.
The suspect is accused of being involved in the death of Christopher Allan Reid in Dominion last winter.
He was expected to make his first court appearance in Sydney last Friday.
The police are still treating this crime as an isolated incident.
The investigation is continuing.
