Brian MacLeod Receives Queen Elizabeth Platinum Jubilee Medal

The MacLeod Group has announced that their founder Brian MacLeod is a recipient of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal for Nova Scotia.

MacLeod has been recognized as exemplary member of the Antigonish community and is a dedicated volunteer for various organizations like Nova Scotia Community College and Festival Antigonish.

He was also recognized for fostering a vision with the MacLeod Group to be a leader in high quality retirement living and senior care built on the foundation of family values and a sense of community. He graduated in 1974 from Mount A. MacLeod and he and his wife Irene have raised four sons in Antigonish.

The MacLeod Group Health Care Services was founded back in 1984 and the organization operates in 13 locations providing care to 724 residents and employs over 1000 people throughout the Maritimes.

The organization is honoured to have Brian MacLeod as their founder, and they are proud to see him recognized for all his hard work and dedication to the community.
