Cape Breton Regional Police Investigating a Fatal Pedestrian Collision

A pedestrian in Membertou has been killed.

The victim was hit by a vehicle on Terry Way between the Cape Breton Regional Hospital and Churchill Drive in Membertou yesterday afternoon.

The 60-year-old woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Traffic safety investigators and forensic identification officers attended the scene, and the Cape Breton Regional Police continue to investigate.

The victims identify has not been released.
