Tentative Deal Reached Between CBU, Faculty Union

It looks like a strike at Cape Breton University is soon ending.

According to the university, a tentative agreement has been reached with the union that represents faculty members.

In a release, CBU says their Board of Governors has approved the agreement, and a ratification vote is planned for later today by the union.

The workers went on strike on January 27th, demanding better pay.

A conciliator led talks this past week between the two sides.
