RCMP Investigating Thefts in Port Hawkesbury

Inverness County District RCMP are investigating thefts at two stores in Port Hawkesbury.

On January 31st, two men and a woman entered a grocery store on Paint Street and left with a cart full of unpaid merchandise. It is believed that later in the day the same suspects stole perfume and electric toothbrushes from a store on Reeves Street.

They fled in a Hyundai Elantra with a license plate number GYY694.

The RCMP have received multiple tips from the public on this case but the investigation is ongoing. They encourage anyone that has any information that may be helpful to call the Inverness County District Crime Unit at 902-625-2220 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477,
