The murder trial of a former Dalhousie medical student is now entering its final stage.
Lawyers wrapped up their closing arguments in the William Sandeson retrial on Wednesday.
He is charged with first degree murder in the death of Taylor Samson.
Sandeson admits he shot and killed Samson at his Halifax apartment, but claims it was in self-defence.
The judge overseeing the case will begin giving jury members instructions on Thursday before they start deliberations.
