It’s Human Trafficking Awareness Day

Today is Human Trafficking Awareness Day.

It’s a criminal offence that forces and deceives a person of any age in order to exploit them.

Police are asking the public to help prevent the crime, by being informed about human trafficking.

In a series of tweets RCMP say it happens every day in our province and knowing the signs is the first step in prevention.
