Mannequins hanging from Hwy 101 overpass in southwestern NS

Things are getting a little strange in southwestern Nova Scotia.

Police say Saturday night around 9:30pm an ambulance struck a mannequin hanging from the overpass on Highway 101 on New Edinburgh Rd, in Meteghan

It was wearing orange clothing, said, ‘Justice for Vernon’ and damaged the ambulance’s windshield significantly, to the point where it couldn’t operate.

This comes after a similar incident on Little Brook Rd, the Saturday before, another mannequin hanging, dressed in a sweater, blue jeans and shoes.

RCMP believe the two are related and ask anyone with information to call or Crime Stoppers.
