After a snowy start to March, things should be calmer the rest of the month.
Meteorologist Bob Robichaud with Environment Canada says precipitation and temperatures look seasonal as we approach spring.
He says there may be a colder trend the last two weeks of the month.
“Overall, nothing really jumps out as being way outside the norm. Last week was certainly different than what we saw during the first part of winter,” said Robichaud.
He predicts the next system that could impact our province will be to the south on Tuesday.
Robichaud says the southwestern part of the province will likely be warmer than the rest of Nova Scotia this spring.
He’s also predicting below average levels of precipitation over the next three months.
