Snowfall warnings continue for some areas of Cape Breton

A snowfall warning remains in effect for some areas of Cape Breton this morning.

It’s in place for Cape Breton and Richmond counties.

An additional 10 centimetres on top of what fell yesterday is expected in those areas.

Environment Canada says it might mix in with rain.

Meanwhile, Victoria County is under a winter storm warning, where up to 40 centimetres could fall through the day.

Most of the rest of the province is under a special weather statement, as rain will change back to snow tonight.
