A 47-year old man died in a single vehicle crash in Alma early Sunday morning.
Pictou County District RCMP say the man from Sylvester was pronounced dead at the scene.
It happened before 2 a.m. at the intersection of Greenhill Road and Douglas Road.
Two people walking in the area found the vehicle in a wooded area off the road.
The road was closed for several hours but has since re-opened.
The investigation is continuing.
