Two Cape Bretoners have been arrested in accordance with the Controlled Drug and Substances Act.
Members of the Cape Breton Regional Police Service street crime unit arrested a man and a woman after conducting a vehicle stop and finding them to be in possession of drugs.
A subsequent search of the man’s home, combined with the contents of the vehicle, found the two to be in possession of 2000 diluadid pills, which carry an $80,000 street value. They also found several thousand dollars in cash.
