The Mooseheads (37-13-7), who have won three straight, are second in the 18-team league with 81 points, five points behind Blainville-Boisbriand for top spot, and two points ahead of River Denys’ Colten Ellis and the third-place Oceanic.
It was the first game of the season between the teams, who meet for the second and final time in Rimouski in March.
