Two men from Eskasoni have been charged with attempted murder.
RCMP say around 5am Wednesday, August 2, a 45-year-old man was attacked on Castle Bay Rd by two men known to him.
They hit him with a vehicle, sprayed with an irritant before assaulting him with a baseball bat.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police are looking for the two suspects.
A 29-year-old man, 5 foot 11, 160lbs, brown hair and green eyes.
And a 42-year-old man 5,11, 160lbs, black hair and brown eyes.
They are believed to be driving a grey 2011 Ram 1500 with a Nova Scotia license plate HCD 984.
Police say this was not a random act and if you see the suspects call RCMP.
