Heavy rain and flooding in NS

Nova Scotia communities are seeing floods as a rainfall warning continues for the entire province.

Some areas have reported 40mm/hr in thunderstorms.

A hfxALERT has been issued advising of localized flooding. It says people should limit travel unless necessary and avoid driving through flooded areas.

There are also multiple reports of flooding in the Annapolis Valley.

Environment Canada says we could get 50 to 80 mm of rain before heavy downpours and thunderstorms end late tonight.
