Paving on Highway 105 in Glendale

Upgrades are coming to Highway 105 that will cover a 12km stretch between Glendale and Blue Mills.

The first 7km of paving will be on Williams Hill at Glendale; the stretch that extends toward Whycocomagh beginning 1 km east of Maple Brook Rd.

“This section has gotten quite rough, and it is on a large hill with a passing lane,” said Inverness MLA and Deputy Premier Allan MacMaster. “It will improve safety on a route with a lot of truck traffic.”

Another 5km will get a paving preservation project with asphalt to help preserve Highway 105 between Big Marsh Rd toward Whycocomagh.

Both projects are to be completed this fall.
