You’ll notice something new at Sunset Park.
An art installation called “The Wave” has taken residence.
It was designed and created by Cape Breton artist Gordon Kennedy.
Gordon tells the town, the location with the water behind it and the evening colours made the choice of using stainless steel a ‘natural’ one.
The town says work will continue in the Park in the spring, with the addition of plantings, walkways, sorting areas, picnic shelters and seating.
